Great Birth Debate
April 4th 2024 - 5pm - 7pm
Following the brief discussion panel and Q&A session that we ran at the recent showing of the Born at Home movie we have decided to continue this conversation. Many of you have seen the film and we know that even if you haven’t you are passionate about making change in the birth world!
We feel that we can start to make some important changes and that we need to continue to talk about the issues that are current in our maternity system and think about ways to challenge them and try and make actual change.
Let's help get rid of the stigma surrounding homebirth in Australia.
Let's talk about why more women are choosing to birth at home.
Let’s talk about why more women are choosing to freebirth in Australia.
Let's talk about birth trauma in Australia and why 1 in 3 women leave their birth traumatised.
This is outrageous and it needs to change. So please come and be part of the conversation and be part of the change!
We are stronger together!
Anyone and everyone is welcome - women, partners, doulas, midwives, students, birth workers, allied health professionals, birth nuts.
Thursday 4th April, 5-7pm.
