Ashleigh and Ethan
The birth of Ashleigh and Ethan’s second child, an empowering home waterbirth.
Ashleigh did not have a good experience during the birth of her first child. Her birth ended with an unplanned caesarean and she felt dis-empowered and disrespected.
The second time around , they knew they wanted something totally different. Ashleigh did her research, she knew her best chance of a physiological birth was with the care and support of an EPPM.
Clare provided continuity of midwifery care to Ashleigh throughout her pregnancy and she came into her labour positive and well supported. The birth was everything she has dreamed about and Ashleigh and Ethan fell in-love once again with the beautiful process of birth when they welcomed their son into the world in their bedroom!
